Scandinavian Inspired Condo in the West Hollywood Hills

This is an example of a *perfect* client / designer collaboration. Our client, a super busy, young doctor with a fantastic eye for detail, approached us to help completely gut and renovate her West Hollywood condominum. Our goal was to combine her love for Scandinavian design in a super modern and clean way, without compromising warmth and comfort in the design.

One of the first pieces we started designing was this sectional. We chose a graphite cotton blend material and measured for the ideal depth and height - this is ladies and gentlemen, the world's most comfortable sofa (made by our friends at The Foundation Shop). The daybed is from CB2 but was reupholsterd in a super soft, amazing pale peach velvet.

There's nothing more glamourous than the stacking sliding doors. They really do create the ideal indoor / outdoor living.

The kitchen was designed to be open, but not completely open to the dining and living areas. The cabinet boxes are from IKEA, the cabinet doors are custom made by Dunsmuir Cabinets. A bar height counter seperates out the "working space" of the kitchen nicely. The stools give variety to the types of seating which is nice to have in any space.

The challenge for us in designing the master bathroom (which is windowless and narrow) was to make the bathroom feel spacious while providing a good amount of storage for all those products we all love to use. We designed the vanity to appear as if it's floating and created an inset mirror to give our client an extra shelf if needed. We designed the shower niche to round the corner for more storage. The tiles are Ann Sacks.

Pop of bright blue does wonders for this otherwise muted and calming master bedroom. The sconce is by Allied Maker.

Super chic mirrored glass closet doors. The round knobs are a slight nod to the mid-century building this condo is in.

We love the library look for a dining area. Floating bookshelves keep the room open while providing ample space to display books, photographs, and objects. The dining chairs are the Bacco chairs from DWR.

Keeping it simple in the powder, with walnut floating sheves and the Hang1 BluDot mirror.

Thank you for looking!
