Only the Finest : WeHo Townhouse

For our young successful (read: bosslady) client, home wasn’t just a place to lay her head. In fact, for this successful anesthesiologist who works mostly night shifts, the devil was absolutely in the details. After an initial consultation, the client decided she wanted us to do it all.

The townhouse layout and existing dark floors inspired a more European design- modern but bold - and add flare wherever possible. Our client’s spunky, refined taste made this easy - she shops at places like Kelly Wearstler and Jonathan Adler.

Living

She had already purchased the white linen Chesterfield sofa, so we jazzed it up with the diver prints from Trowbridge, a gorgeous Allegra Hicks Rug Company rug, and the Cooper swivel chairs from Mitchell Gold & Bob Williams in a delicious velvet. The room oozes classy-place-to-host-friends. The swivels add movement and, as a bonus, make it easy for said friends to watch Wimbledon with their hostess. Amazing accents include the Noir floor lamp, Worlds Away coffee table, and an antique rose tinted brass and smoked glass bar cart from 1st Dibs. The speaker console table and leather chess set were purchased by client. Window treatments in 22 Interiors signature fabric by Galaxy Draperies.

Dining

We had a choice to make in dining - dining table OR bar stools as there wasn't enough room for both. We chose dining, and everyone is happy we did. The chairs are designer's dream, and this client shared our immense enthusiasm for bright yellow fully upholstered wool dining chairs. The Peter Francis Grace dining table compliments these super comfortable and perfectly unexpected chairs. We finished off the area with our favorite witty wall accents- Fornasetti plates.

The Most Amazing Space in West Hollywood*

*in Lucie's humble opinion

The client really wanted something unpredictable, bold and fun. A piece by one of our favorite photographers, Lane Coder, inspired us to create a room that really brings to life the mood of the photograph. We partnered up with Design Your Wall to turn Lane's photograph into a mural, and we added a hammock and super soft rug. Custom pillows and floor pillows designed by us. Daydreaming yet?

Master Bedroom

This room evolved sort of backwards. Our client was originally set on keeping her wood bed and nightstands, so we decided to paint the room in Ralph Lauren Greenpoint to liven it up. Once we painted, our client decided to redo the entire room. We felt it needed to be a tad more edgy, based on what we did in the rest of the house, so black and white accents were the way to go. The velvet bed and deco inlay nightstands are from Anthropologie. Art is from Molly Frances' Nocturnes series by Daylight Dream Editions.
